Access
By accessing this site, you are opting to having information collected by Delta Dental as documented below.

Information Gathering
The servers that we use automatically capture your domain name, the IP address of the web page from which you enter the site, the pages you visit on our site and the amount of time you spend here.

Use of the Information Collected on this Site
Any personally-identifiable information you give on this site will be used only to provide the product, service or information you have requested, like a quote for one of the plans, or to support the programs for which you register. Unless you specifically consent to let us do so, we do not sell, rent, license, or otherwise share with third parties your personally identifiable information including your email address. Any non-personally identifiable information collected through the site may be used to improve our site.

Cookies
Delta Dental of Connecticut uses "cookies" technology to provide session management. Session management allows the site to track which page a user was on after submitting a request for information. This technology prevents the user from having to re-enter information each time he or she looks at a page of output from a request.

We also may use what is known as "client-side page tagging," which uses code on our products pages to write certain information about the page and the visitor to a log when a page is rendered by your web browser. "Tagging" does result in a JavaScript program running on your computer, but it is limited to providing information about the page that you are requesting and the configuration of your browser. It will not read any of your data files, or execute any additional programs. It does not extract any personal information about you, such as your name or address. You can prevent tagging by disabling JavaScript in your browser, but that may prevent you from using all of our website's functions. You can opt-out of receiving behavioral ads if you're uncomfortable with the concept. Please follow the instructions here: http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.
