Delta Dental of Connecticut Appoints Stuart Brereton as New Vice President and Chief Sales Officer

Glastonbury, CT — April 3, 2024 – Delta Dental of Connecticut (DDCT) is pleased to announce that Stuart Brereton has been named its new Vice President and Chief Sales Officer.

Mr. Brereton, who assumed the role this month, is a seasoned insurance industry leader in Healthcare, Life, and Disability insurance with extensive sales and business development experience. He most recently served as Regional Vice President at Prudential Financial and spent many years before that at The Hartford, where he began as a sales executive, serving the large group market and ultimately ascending to the position of Regional Sales Director.

In his role, Mr. Brereton will oversee the account management, individual, small group, core, and large group sales teams, as well as sales operations, with the goal of increasing market share through gaining new accounts while retaining and growing current group customer accounts.

Mr. Brereton graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science from Gettysburg College, where he was also a champion varsity swimmer and school record holder.
