Change Healthcare announced a breach of HIPAA privacy and is reaching out to individuals whose personal information may have been compromised. Although this incident does not involve Delta Dental of New Jersey or Connecticut, Change Healthcare is a vendor we used and we are providing this information to help our members who might be affected.
Our goal is to continue to provide service to our members, providers, brokers, and group customers. Claims will continue to be paid to provider offices, commissions will continue to be paid to brokers, and members can self-serve through the MySmile member portal. Through MySmile members can self-service on our website to verify eligibility and benefits, check claims status, and print ID cards and explanation of benefits.
All customers can also contact us via email. We appreciate your patience as there is a 2-3 day turn-around on email responses.
